Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $69,000, plus additional benefits such as NFP Salary Packaging, bonuses, and more. We offer competitive remuneration packages to ensure that our employees are fairly compensated for their hard work and dedication.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Career Advisor to join our team in Granville. As a Career Advisor, you will be responsible for developing strong relationships with participants to understand their needs, interests, skills, and experiences. You will assist them in creating job plans to achieve clear pathways into sustainable employment, increase their employability through training and other support services, and source employment opportunities through networking and sales strategies.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Developing rapport with participants to identify their strengths and barriers towards employment
  • Assisting participants in preparing resumes, job applications, and interview preparation
  • Collaborating with participants to create job plans that address their unique needs and goals
  • Providing ongoing support and guidance to participants as they navigate the employment process
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Full Australian working rights
  • A willingness to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check
  • Demonstrated ability to meet the WISE attributes: Customer Centricity, Curiosity, Resilience, Adaptability, Creativity, and Growth Mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A self-motivated and autonomous individual who can work independently
