Inclusion Specialist for Intellectual Disability Healthcare

The National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health is a part of the faculty of Medicine and Health at UNSW, focusing on improving healthcare for individuals with intellectual disability.
SalaryThe hourly rate for this position is $45.50, and the Superannuation contribution is 17%.
Job DescriptionLived Experience Inclusion Advisors play a crucial role in ensuring the Centre's work is inclusive and effective. They share their experiences to shape the Centre's projects and strategies, collaborate with different teams, and test documents and resources.
- Key responsibilities include sharing experiences, working collaboratively, testing resources, and participating in interviews to select suitable candidates.
This role requires a strong passion for inclusion and improving healthcare for people with intellectual disability, confidence in expressing opinions and ideas, ability to work effectively in a team, and basic computer skills.
