Senior Contract Administrator

Job Description

The role of Senior Contract Administrator plays a crucial part in the execution and performance of complex contract agreements across capital projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that all contractual requirements are met, and that contracts are administered efficiently and effectively.

This position reports directly to the Head of Commercial & Contract Management and requires strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in Contract Administration/Management in an infrastructure or construction project environment.

The successful candidate will also possess sound understanding of probity and conflicts of interests, as well as detail-oriented and analytical skills. They will be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and provide expert contract administration advice to contract managers and other contract administrators.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage contract administration and technical support for the organization
  • Develop and implement robust systems and processes for the efficient administration of contracts and contractors
  • Provide expert contract administration advice to contract managers and other contract administrators
  • Accountable for keeping accurate and complete records of business activities
  • Analyse contract performance data to generate regular reports to leaders on contract performance, highlighting expenditure and key performance indicators
