This is a unique opportunity to join KPMG's ESG Due Diligence team as a senior consultant/executive. The team is focused on the deal environment and is looking for a professional with a deep passion for ESG to join their ranks.

**Your Role**

As part of the ESG transaction team, you will be responsible for considering aspects on deals relating to Climate Risk, Decarbonisation Strategy and ESG related considerations. This will involve actively involved in the delivery of ESG due diligence engagements, including qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as writing reports and conducting management interviews.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Meet regulatory, investor and stakeholder demands/expectations.
  • Ensure the 'target' business is positioned to address those risks and also capture the value upside opportunities from ESG.
  • Analyse and assess the range of mitigation and adaptation strategies available to address ESG risks and value creation opportunities.
  • Embed the ESG risk, strategy, targets and governance into financial reporting frameworks, in line with market and investor expectations.
