Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Tax Advisory Expert to join our Deal Advisory Tax team in Australia. As a key member of the team, you will work on high-profile transactions, providing tax due diligence, structuring advice and transaction document review services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct tax due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, private equity deals and infrastructure projects;
  • Develop and implement effective tax structures for transactions, including advice on deal structures and fund structures;
  • Review and advise on transaction documents, including sale and purchase agreements, joint venture agreements and other contractual documents;
  • Provide tax model reviews and ensure compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations;
  • Support post-deal integration activities, including tax planning and implementation;
  • Correspond with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) and Foreign Investment Review Board (FIRB) as required.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in tax advisory or consulting, preferably in deal advisory or transaction services;
  • Strong tax technical skills, with expertise in Australian taxation law and international tax regimes;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex tax information to clients and stakeholders;
  • Ability to work in a team environment, supervise and mentor junior staff members;
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with a focus on building strong relationships and trust with clients;
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and issue resolution.
