ESG Sales Professional

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced ESG Sales Executive to join our team at Moir Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business that is making a meaningful impact and is in a rapid scaling-up stage of their business life cycle.
About the Role:As an ESG Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving new business growth and expanding our customer base across all sectors, private and public, with a bias towards medium and larger organisations. You will be responsible for identifying and prospecting potential clients, building strong relationships internally and externally, and closing sales deals.
Key Responsibilities:- Business Development: Actively seek out and generate new business opportunities by identifying potential clients within the corporate and government sectors in Australia and New Zealand.
- Sales Strategy: Work with our existing Sales Team members to augment and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor and expert in the ESG industry.
- Sales Presentations: Create and deliver compelling and persuasive presentations to showcase our SaaS solutions, addressing client needs and demonstrating value propositions effectively.
- Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure, including qualifying prospects, conducting product demonstrations, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitors, and market developments, providing valuable insights to heads of departments to aid strategic decision-making and product roadmap direction.
- Collaboration: Work closely with our marketing team to provide feedback and align sales efforts with marketing campaigns, ensuring consistent messaging and effective lead generation.
- Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, providing regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasting to the management team.
- Proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly within the SaaS industry. ESG software sales experience is highly desirable.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in a new business-focused role.
- Strong understanding of corporate sales processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
- Highly organised with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and an open mind regarding international travel in the future.
