Job Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for a skilled and experienced clinical pain management therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a part-time capacity.

This role involves working collaboratively with other experienced therapists and healthcare professionals, providing comprehensive assessment and treatment services to clients across various programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualised psychological assessments and interventions to clients experiencing chronic pain
  • Develop and lead group therapy sessions focusing on pain management skills and strategies
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement client care plans
  • Contribute to the development of new program initiatives and quality improvement projects

Selection Criteria
  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology or related field
  • Eligibility for membership to the Australian Psychological Association
  • Experience working in pain management or rehabilitation is highly desirable
  • Proven ability to provide individualised therapy and facilitate group educational sessions
  • Excellent time management and flexibility
  • Enjoy working within a multidisciplinary team across various programs
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Membership to APS College of Clinical Psychologists is desired
  • Advanced qualifications and expertise in pain management are welcomed
