Job Description

A dynamic and challenging opportunity exists for a seasoned and enthusiastic psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in a part-time capacity.

This role involves working collaboratively with an established team, comprising experienced psychologists and allied health professionals. The ideal candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, a keen interest in pain management, and thrive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psychological assessments and treatment to various clients, with a focus on pain management
  • Deliver face-to-face and telehealth treatments
  • Conduct psychology group sessions
  • Participate in team meetings, patient case conferences, and supervision sessions
  • Contribute to program development and quality improvement initiatives

Our centre offers a supportive staff environment, with a well-established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Australian tertiary qualifications in Psychology
  • Eligibility for membership to the Australian Psychological Association
  • Desirable experience working in pain management or rehabilitation
  • Exceptional time management and flexibility
  • Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Membership to APS College of Clinical Psychologists desired
  • Advanced qualifications in a particular therapeutic model welcomed
