Aged Care General Practitioner Opportunity

Are you a dedicated and compassionate General Practitioner seeking a new challenge in aged care? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a General Practitioner in residential aged care facilities across Umina Beach and Gosford.

Your day will be filled with regular resident reviews, collaborative care planning, and a mix of acute and chronic care management. You'll work closely with a close-knit clinical team, including a Registered Nurse, a consulting Geriatrician, and a proactive admin team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a calm, patient-focused environment
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to develop and implement effective care plans
  • Conduct regular resident reviews and provide comprehensive medical care
  • Work collaboratively with the admin team to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
  • Current AHPRA registration with no restrictions
  • Fellowship with RACGP or ACRRM, or currently working towards it
  • Ability to work as a General Practitioner without supervision
  • Interest in aged care or geriatric medicine
  • Strong communication and decision-making skills
  • Collaborative approach to working with care teams
