We are seeking a highly skilled Neurology Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of neurology. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The successful applicant will have experience working in a multidisciplinary team setting and be able to lead and supervise junior medical staff and students. They will also be required to participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Demonstrated subspecialty interest in headache management is an advantage.
This part-time position requires a high level of expertise in neurology, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment. The successful applicant will have a strong passion for delivering high-quality patient care and will be able to work effectively in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical advice and care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and guidelines.
- Mentor and supervise junior medical staff and students.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with other healthcare professionals and stakeholders.
To be considered for this role, applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a medical practitioner in Australia. A recognized specialist qualification, such as Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians, is also essential. Additionally, applicants must have appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Neurology.
Please note that applicants expecting to be awarded their fellowship within three months may be considered, but must complete the relevant qualifications and requirements before commencing their appointment.
Requirements:- Medical Practitioner registered or able to be registered in Australia.
- Recognised specialist qualifications, Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and/or other equivalent specialist recognition.
- Appropriate experience to practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner in Neurology.
