Job Title: Clinical Education Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Education Leader to join our team.

The role is part of a broader strategy to strengthen academic capacity in the Discipline of Critical Care across the School, fostering excellence in clinical education and supporting the next generation of medical professionals.

The successful candidate will develop scholarly research and professional activities nationally and internationally, and contribute to teaching and service missions of the School and Faculty.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical teaching, education leadership, curriculum development, and coordination across campuses.
  • Engage in scholarly research and contribute to teaching and service missions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support undergraduate and postgraduate education in Critical Care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in a related discipline, and/or relevant work experience.
  • Medical qualification registerable in NSW and specialist training, preferably in a Critical Care field.
  • Commitment to ongoing discipline knowledge updates and developments.
  • Experience in teaching and learning design across undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels.
  • Experience with educational technologies and online delivery methods.
  • Evidence of teaching effectiveness and curriculum development experience.
  • Knowledge of industry or work-integrated learning (desirable).
  • Ability to support students from diverse backgrounds and support equity, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Strong research track record with high-quality outcomes and leadership potential.
  • Active involvement with the profession or industry.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and interpersonal skills; ability to work in a team and across disciplines.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
