Clinical Nursing Leader
Role OverviewThis is a senior perioperative role where you will lead by example in one of Queensland's busiest surgical units. You will make your mark in specialist surgical care as part of a collaborative team committed to clinical excellence and patient-centred outcomes.
You will be responsible for delivering advanced perioperative care, leading the coordination and delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care for surgical patients with complex needs.
As a Clinical Nursing Leader, you will provide expert clinical support, mentorship, and supervision to a diverse multidisciplinary team.
You will contribute to education, quality improvement, and research initiatives within the theatre environment.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care for surgical patients with complex needs.

The ideal candidate will have advanced clinical knowledge in the Operating Theatre environment, particularly in the General Surgery Instrument and Circulating roles.
They will have strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills in high-pressure clinical settings.
Active engagement in professional development, education, and continuous improvement activities is also essential.
