Key Responsibilities:- Support students in the clinical education context, providing advice and guidance informed by professional, ethical, legal, and organisational standards.
- Manage the allocation of practice placements, ensuring balanced student experiences that meet Speech Pathology Australia accreditation requirements.
- Lead administrative processes associated with clinical placement activity, including allocation, timetabling, assessment, results, and placement management data.
- Liaise and negotiate with stakeholders from various sectors, including public, private, education, industry, and NGOs, on matters relevant to clinical education.
- Develop, provide, and evaluate education and training strategies for practice educators, focusing on facilitation of learning and assessment of student clinical practice.
- Provide on-site and remote support for practice educators engaged in supervising speech pathology students.
- A degree in Speech Pathology with a minimum of 5 years relevant clinical experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the clinical education of students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, negotiation, and conflict management.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-motivation, problem-solving, and initiative-taking abilities.
- High-level organisational and time management skills.
