The role involves leading a publicity team, executing imaginative campaigns, working closely with publishing, marketing, and sales teams to deliver fully integrated promotional plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leading the Melbourne Publicity team
  • Executing inventive and strategic publicity campaigns across traditional and digital media
  • Organizing events and book tours, big and small
  • Establishing networks of media and event contacts
  • Managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, from debuts to brand and celebrity authors
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • A proven track record of leading and delivering publicity campaigns
  • Effective leadership skills with mentorship, multi-tasking, and innovative thinking
  • Exemplary organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience or passion for non-fiction and literary titles
