Senior Associate, Capability Development

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Senior Associate, Capability Development. This role is part of our Emergency Management Branch and involves complex policy or project work to support capability development in the emergency management sector.

About the Role
  • This role will undertake key tasks such as supporting the development of policies and procedures, conducting stakeholder engagement, and facilitating service delivery reforms or major initiatives.
  • You will also provide well-researched and sound options by identifying emerging issues that can inform policy directions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in developing and implementing service delivery reforms, strategic initiatives, or interagency projects with a focus on capability development.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You will need to have appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent relevant professional experience and training.
  • You should have experience in leading and project managing complex, cross-agency projects.
  • You must have a demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders and engage senior decision-makers with confidence.
  • You should have experience in undertaking all aspects of the policy process – research, development, implementation review, and evaluation.
Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is approximately $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
