Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to provide support services to our clients in their homes.

As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for assisting with daily living activities, providing social support, and helping clients maintain their independence.


Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as showering, grooming, and dressing.
  • Provide social support through companionship and accompaniment to appointments or recreational activities.
  • Engage clients in capacity-building activities to assist with learning new skills and increasing independence.
  • Perform domestic assistance tasks such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, and light household cleaning.
  • Record attendance and task completion using a smartphone application.
Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive in supporting clients with unique needs and preferences, and demonstrate flexibility in work arrangements.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline.
  • National Police Check (less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check).
  • Victorian Driver's License.
  • Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car.
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications.

Australia pays SCHADS award wages with generous allowances for this role.
