Job Title

We are seeking caring and supportive individuals to work as Home Care Attendants in the Mornington Peninsula region.

As a Home Care Attendant, you will provide domestic support services to clients in their own homes, including assistance with daily tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.

You will also provide companionship and spend quality time with clients, helping them to maintain their independence and dignity.

About the Role

We are looking for individuals who are available to work on a permanent part-time basis, however casual employment may also be considered.

You must be prepared to travel within reason and ideally be available to work between Monday and Friday.

You will visit multiple homes per day, spending 1-2 hours at each home, and KMs will be paid for permanent employees.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing domestic support services to clients, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Assisting with shopping and running local errands
  • Transporting clients to appointments
  • Providing companionship and spending quality time with clients
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current driver's license and reliable access to a vehicle
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • An NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
