**Personal Care Specialist Position**

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to provide essential support services to individuals in their homes. This role involves working closely with clients, offering personal care, social support, and capacity-building activities to enhance their daily lives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Providing personal care such as showering, grooming, or dressing
  • Offering social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities
  • Assisting with capacity-building activities to help clients learn new skills or increase independence
  • Performing domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and assistance

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • National Police Check (less than a year old)
  • Driver's License
  • Comprehensively insured, registered, and well-maintained car
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline
  • Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
  • At least 12 months experience in a similar role
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous
