Job Title: In-Home Support Worker

We are currently recruiting support workers to provide in-home care services for our clients. Our services include personal care, domestic assistance (light cleaning and meal prep), transportation and companionship.

Key Duties:

  • Assisting clients with personal hygiene and getting dressed
  • Assisting clients with housekeeping or other daily errands
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Preparing food and feeding clients
  • Transporting clients to appointments
  • Providing support with academic, social or recreational activities

Requirements:

  • A minimum of Certificate 3 in Individual Support / Health Services Assistance / Aged Care / Home and Community Care
  • Valid work rights in Australia
  • A current and clear National Police Check (within 12 months validity)
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification
  • An Employee Working with Children Check
  • A full Covid Vaccination Comprehensive
  • NDIS Clearance

Desirable Qualities:

  • 1-2 years of experience in support work or personal care
  • An Australian driver's license
  • An insured car
  • Hoisting experience
  • Current manual handling certification
  • Experience supporting people with autism
  • Experience with non-verbal clients
  • Experience with spinal cord injuries
