Are you seeking a career in manual labour?

Our client is a renowned provider of quality floor coverings. We're currently recruiting for a General Labourer to join their team in Salisbury.

As a General Labourer, you will be an essential part of the installation process, assisting with various tasks including:

  • Carrying cartons weighing up to 20Kgs with ease and efficiency
  • Transporting products weighing above 20Kgs using safe work methods
  • Uplifting and carrying floor coverings to ensure seamless installations
  • Installing floor protection under the guidance of an experienced floor installer

For this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong willingness to learn and contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including steel-cap boots, long sleeve high-visibility shirt, and long pants
  • A White Card

Starting as a casual labourer, you will be provided with necessary training and guidance in basic floor covering installation work. If you display a strong commitment to your career, you could be offered a fantastic opportunity:

  • A four-year apprenticeship through TAFE QLD
  • A full-time position with the company

Key requirements for this role include being driven, enthusiastic and able to commit to ongoing work opportunities.

Job Type: Full-time, Casual

Salary: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Work Schedule: 10 hour shift, 8 hour shift, Day shift, Morning shift

Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay, Penalty rates

Ability to Commute/Relocate: Salisbury, QLD: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work

Licence/Certification: White Card (preferred), Driver Licence (preferred)

Work Authorisation: Australia (preferred)
