Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Coordinator to join our team at Oilandgas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR function, ensuring the smooth operation of HR processes and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Employee Lifecycle Management: Prepare and facilitate Letters of Offer and other correspondence related to the employee lifecycle.
  • Pre-Employment Checks and Onboarding: Manage the completion of pre-employment checks and onboarding requirements for new hires.
  • Offboarding and Payroll Coordination: Coordinate the offboarding of employees and payroll documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Talent Acquisition Support: Provide administrative support to the Talent Acquisition team, including recruitment-related systems and processes.
  • HR Administration: Manage employee benefits, maintain accurate employee records, and provide general HR administration support.
  • Communication and Relationship Building: Lead contact for time keeping programs, manage the OT-AUS-HR inbox, and respond to employee queries.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and contribute to ongoing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the employee experience.
Requirements
  • Tertiary Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Human Resources (required).
  • Experience: 2+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including payroll experience.
  • Knowledge: Good knowledge of Australian and NZ employment legislation, MA Manufacturing and Associated Industries and Occupations Award 2020, and ability to interpret EBA.
  • Skills: Advanced level user of Microsoft suite, strong understanding and ability to maintain confidentiality, and ability to work autonomously and use own initiative.
