About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Superintendent to join our team at Newmont. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating HR activities, including employee relations, performance management, recruitment, and workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist and advise departmental managers and employees on HR-related policies and procedures.
  • Direct and coordinate site HR work activities relating to employment, compensation, and employee relations.
  • Develop and manage internal/external training and recruitment programs, including workforce planning.
  • Supervise, coach, and direct the activities of the Human Resources team.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal and provincial employee and labour standards legislation.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management with eight to twelve years of progressively responsible supervisory experience.
  • CHRP designation.
  • Strong knowledge of HR principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Strong analytic and organizational abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make difficult decisions with conflicting priorities.
