Event Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Event Coordinator for full-time employment opportunities at one of Brisbane's most iconic venues along the river.

About the Role

The role involves coordinating events in all spaces, working closely with the Venue Manager and front and back of house teams. This position requires exceptional organizational and time management skills to ensure seamless execution of events.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate event logistics, including venue setup, catering, and audio-visual requirements
  • Work closely with clients to understand their event needs and preferences
  • Liaise with vendors and suppliers to ensure high-quality service delivery
  • Manage event budgets and track expenses
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and policies
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum 12 months' experience in a similar role
  • Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation
  • A curious learner who wants to further their development
  • Ability to listen and inspire customers with the possibilities for their event experience
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Previous experience in a large catering, hotel or corporate hospitality environment is an advantage
  • Previous experience working in a flexible, multi-skilled team environment is an advantage
