About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and organised Conference Attendant to join our team. As a Conference Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up event spaces, staging, and ensuring the smooth execution of conferences, meetings, and other events.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup and maintain event spaces, including tables, linens, décor, signage, and event materials.
  • Provide exceptional guest service before, during, and after events, responding to queries and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients during events, communicating last-minute changes or requests to relevant colleagues.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of event spaces throughout the function.
  • Manage event supplies, restocking items as needed before and after events.
  • Report event outcomes or incidents to supervisors.
  • Assist with post-event inventory, storage, and guest feedback.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or large-scale events venue.
  • Proven success working on large-scale events and a strong understanding of operational logistics.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organisational, and time-management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on providing exceptional guest service.
  • Flexibility to work a varied roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
  • A current RSA certification.
  • Calm under pressure, handling complaints, emergencies, or operational hiccups without disruption.
  • Full working rights in Australia without restrictions.
  • Impeccable grooming standards and good personal hygiene.
  • Physical fitness, as you'll be on your feet most of the day.
