Business Development Lead:

Senior Business Development Representative

The Senior Business Development Representative will be responsible for driving business growth in the scaffolding industry. This includes building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers, as well as developing strategies to increase sales and revenue for the business.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify new business opportunities in the scaffolding industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
  • Create and deliver high-quality presentations and proposals to potential clients and partners.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform business decisions.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop and execute campaigns to reach new customers.
  • Represent the business at trade shows and networking events to generate leads and build relationships.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure that the business is meeting the needs of its customers.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with clients and partners to secure new business.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years experience in Business Development or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of decision-making processes in the sales team.
  • High level of professionalism and excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with sales and operations platforms.
  • Thorough knowledge of scaffolding access systems and their applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to tender and convert projects into successful business outcomes.
  • Positive and respectful attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Professional writing and speaking skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
  • Sales acumen and a positive, proactive approach to business development.
