Clearance Support Agent Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Clearance Support Agent to fill a key role in our operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful clearance of shipments by communicating with customers and resolving discrepancies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with customers regarding clearance requirements and resolve discrepancies to ensure successful shipment clearance
  • Work with customers to gather necessary shipment information and documents when existing data is insufficient
  • Ensure shipment records meet regulatory standards by validating and correcting data elements
  • Coordinate and facilitate shipment inspections as needed
  • Maintain timely contact with customers through various communication channels, assisting with both pre- and post-clearance issues
