**Customs Clearance Specialist Role**

We are seeking an individual to support our Customs Brokerage team in a global freight company. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your Customs experience and gain valuable industry knowledge.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data entry of shipping information for customs clearance processes
  • Obtain documents required by customs brokers for smooth clearance procedures
  • Liaise with clients to clarify shipment details and resolve any issues promptly
  • Send documentation to Australian Customs when necessary, ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Verify dangerous goods requirements to ensure safe transportation

Working Hours:** Tuesday to Saturday, 7am - 3pm or 11am - 7pm

Essential Requirements:

  • Completing or completed Diploma of Customs Broking (desirable)
  • Clear communication skills to interact with clients and colleagues
  • An understanding of airfreight commercial documents and procedures
  • Full Australian working rights, allowing you to work legally in the country
