Job Opportunity

DHL Express Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Customs Clearance Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers about clearance requirements and facilitate the clearance of DHL shipments.
  • Coordinate with customers to obtain necessary shipment information and documents for successful clearance.
  • Validate and correct data elements in shipment records to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and systems.
  • Facilitate shipments inspections where applicable.
  • Receive and make timely contact with customers using all forms of communication, assisting with pre- and post-clearance resolution.

Requirements:

  • Problem-solving & decision-making skills are essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Good reporting, data analysis & Microsoft Office skills are necessary.
  • Great attention to detail is crucial.
