Job Title: Senior Residential EngineerJob Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Engineer to join our Housing team in Adelaide. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the field, even without an engineering degree.

The role includes overseeing the delivery of high-quality solutions in the residential housing market, producing and reviewing designs, reviewing engineering reports and documentation, managing client interactions, attending site meetings, and maintaining proactive communication with stakeholders.

  • Key responsibilities include designing residential/low-rise structures, working with timber, reinforced concrete, steel structures, and related designs.
  • The successful candidate will need to demonstrate proficiency in engineering software such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta, and RAPT.
  • They must also have a strong understanding of Australian standards and building codes, including AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, and NCC.

Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in volume housing.
  • Experience in designing residential/low-rise structures.
  • Proficiency in engineering software such as ClearCalcs, Space Gass, Toolkit, Inducta (advantageous), RAPT (advantageous).
  • Strong understanding of Australian standards and building codes, including AS2870, AS1684, AS1170, AS3600, AS4100, NCC.
