About the Role

As a Cruise Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences, ensuring vessel and passenger safety, and conducting safety briefings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Guest Interaction and Safety: Meet and greet guests during boarding and departure, ensuring their comfort and safety at all times, and interact courteously throughout the voyage.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Manage the bar and food service for guests during the journey, process payments, communicate orders to the kitchen including dietary requirements, and ensure safe food practices are followed.
  • Vessel Presentation and Maintenance: Maintain a presentable vessel at all times, clean food service and dining areas during and after service, and manage stock levels to reduce waste.
Requirements:About You:
  • Minimum 1 year experience in hospitality or customer service.
  • Previous sales experience is favourable.
  • Strong personal presentation skills.
  • Be highly self-motivated, energetic, and able to multitask.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, proactive, and self-motivated.
  • Awareness of cultural differences and sensitivity to the welfare of others.
  • Necessary working entitlements to work in Australia.
  • Not affected by sea sickness.
