Job Title: Tax Services Vice President

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Services Vice President to join our team at State Street. As a key member of our Global Delivery team, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and execution of tax, regulatory, and financial reporting deliverables across the department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and review monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables, ensuring timely and accurate production of deliverables for each client relationship.
  • Answer and handle complex issues and queries, both internal and external, and escalate as needed.
  • Be accountable for assigned tasks and deadlines for self and for the team.
  • Identify risk issues, breaches, and act in accordance with the 'risk' escalation chain and operating procedures.
  • Ensure all controls and procedures are adhered to, and make recommendations for changes.
Requirements:
  • Postgraduate qualification (CA/CPA/CFA) with Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm relevant experience.
  • At least 8+ years of experience in an accounting or financial services environment, specifically in Australia tax, statutory reporting (APRA) or financial reporting for managed investment and superannuation funds.
  • 3-5 years supervisory experience is required.
  • Good leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills, proven track record of efficiency creation, staff development, and people management skills.
