Key Responsibilities

As a key member of our team at Michael Page, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing manufacturing processes, equipment, and products to ensure efficiency and quality.

Key Areas of Focus
  1. Manufacturing Process Management: Develop and implement strategies to improve manufacturing efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.
  2. Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of facilities, including planning and executing upgrades, inspections, and repairs to support production operations.
  3. New Product Introduction (NPI) and Process Improvement: Lead NPI projects, ensuring smooth integration of new products into manufacturing processes, and drive the development and implementation of new production processes and technologies.
  4. Risk Management and Compliance: Conduct regular risk assessments of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
  5. Documentation and Technical Support: Maintain and update engineering documentation, providing technical support and guidance to production engineering teams.
  6. Team Leadership and Development: Coach, mentor, and develop production engineering teams to enhance their capabilities and performance.
  7. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align manufacturing processes with business objectives, and manage relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
  8. Continuous Improvement and Cost Management: Drive cost reduction initiatives while maintaining product quality and supply chain integrity.
Requirements

We are seeking a highly experienced professional with a minimum of 6 years' relevant experience in a facilities-based role within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience leading teams through operational transformation projects using lean manufacturing principles, and possess advanced written and verbal communication skills.
