Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Operations Manager to lead our technical team in delivering facilities management services to our clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in retail maintenance, technical knowledge of building systems, and excellent leadership and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the technical team to ensure the delivery of planned preventative maintenance and identify and address compliance incidents.
  • Conduct ongoing field inspections and scheduled site audits to ensure compliance with legislative, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients and contractors.
  • Work closely with the technical team and the wider City business to ensure seamless delivery of services.
  • Ensure the team meets all legislative, regulatory, and industry standards.
  • Liaise with contractors, provide support, and assist in handover and signoff of works.
  • Maintain availability 24/7 to provide telephone support and attend critical situations as required.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience working in retail maintenance.
  • Trade qualification or similar.
  • Technical knowledge of building systems, including electrical, heating, cooling, and plumbing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving skills, organisational and administrative skills.
  • Available on call, and to attend critical incidents after hours.
  • Current Driver's licence.
