About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Claims Officer to join our team within the Finance department at KinCare. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Home Care Package subsidy claiming, working closely with experienced colleagues to validate monthly claims, verify remittances, and analyse claims data. You will also have the opportunity to liaise with government departments to resolve claim discrepancies and provide support to our elderly customers and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Validate monthly claims and verify remittances
  • Analyse claims data and identify areas for improvement
  • Liaise with government departments to resolve claim discrepancies
  • Provide support to elderly customers and their families
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of enhancements to our claims process

About You:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field
  • Experience working with Aged Care/Home Care Packages (desirable but not essential)
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic (preferred but not essential)
  • Good working knowledge of large ERP systems such as Salesforce
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and work independently
  • Strong organisation and analytical skills
  • Ability to build strong internal relationships and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
