Claims Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to manage Home Care Package subsidy claiming within our Finance department. As a key member of our Claims and Collections team, you will work closely with experienced colleagues to validate monthly claims, verify remittances, and analyse claims data. Your responsibilities will also include liaising with government departments to resolve claim discrepancies and providing support to our elderly customers and their families.
This is a hybrid role, with a mix of office and remote work. You will be part of a seasoned team that provides guidance and support to help you grow and develop in your career. We are committed to improving the quality of life and health & well-being for our customers through tailored in-home care services.
About You- Tertiary qualifications
- Experience working with Aged Care/Home Care Packages is highly desirable but not essential
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge of Visual Basic is preferred but not essential
- Good working knowledge of large ERP systems such as Salesforce
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Strong organisation and analytical skills
- Ability to build strong internal relationships and work within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to work independently and proactively, identifying issues and potential solutions
