Business Development and Marketing Leader

We are seeking an experienced Business Development and Marketing professional to lead our firm's marketing and business development efforts. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing and business development strategies that align with our firm's growth objectives.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in marketing and business development, with a strong background in strategic planning, leadership, and communication. They will be able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, drive business development activities, manage marketing campaigns, and enhance our brand presence.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing and BD strategy aligned with the firm's strategy and growth targets.
• Elevate BD activities from informal, partner-led efforts to a structured program, introducing frameworks for proactive BD and coordinating outreach campaigns.
• Oversee the creation and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns and thought leadership content, ensuring content is persona-driven and localized.
• Act as the brand custodian for our firm, ensuring consistent brand expression across all channels and materials.
• Develop and lead the implementation of a robust digital marketing strategy, including website content, LinkedIn presence, and email marketing.
• Plan and orchestrate client events and seminars, ensuring each event has clear objectives and follow-up actions.
• Establish ownership of marketing and BD data and analytics, defining key performance indicators (KPIs) and providing regular reports to the leadership team.
• Implement a clear operating model for marketing and BD across the firm, defining and documenting processes for common activities.
• Build internal capability and awareness around marketing and BD through training sessions, workshops, and coaching.
• Work collaboratively across the firm and the wider network, engaging service line leaders and partners regularly.

• Proven experience in a similar marketing and business development role, preferably within a professional services environment.
• Strong strategic planning and leadership skills, with the ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing and BD strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Experience in managing marketing campaigns, content creation, and brand management.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, including website management, social media, and email marketing.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and identify high-ROI activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and lead a team of professionals.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
• Relevant professional certifications, such as Google Analytics or HubSpot.
• Proven experience in marketing and business development, preferably within a professional services environment.
