
Senior Financial Services Administrator

The successful candidate will provide high-level management and advice to support the manager with administering and managing the social services service procurement and grant funding in accordance with legislative requirements and funding policy and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-level expertise in administering funding approvals, payments, recording, monitoring, reconciling, and reporting of funding paid to NGOs under the CSA and DSA and funding policy and procedures;
- Analyse issues impacting the administration and management of the funding program, including the interpretation of complex data sets, and identify options and recommendations for remedying these issues in compliance with the FAA;
- Provide high-level advice, including financial monitoring, analysis and interpretation, to Executive Directors, Directors, and Managers about funding administration management issues;
- Liaise, consult and negotiate with service providers, regional staff, program staff and external stakeholders about the administration of the program funding and work collaboratively with staff to resolve complex funding issues and/or any outstanding requirements;
- Provide high-level advice and support to program and contract management staff and NGOs to achieve sound management of funded NGOs;
- Develop and implement practices, processes, and systems to enhance efficient and effective administration of funding payments and approvals in accordance with legislative requirements and funding policy and procedures;
- Prepare complex reports, audits, documents, presentations, executive briefs and correspondence as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of legislative requirements and funding policy and procedures. They will also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
