We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Administration Support Officer to join our AFS Customer Care team in the heart of Brisbane

About the Role

As an Administration Support Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Customer Care function. Your responsibilities will include payment processing, customer account management, and office administration. You will be the backbone of our team, supporting various tasks and ensuring our customers receive the best service possible.

Day to day you will:

  • Import BPAY payments, process manual payments and reversals
  • Manage refunds, reconcile payouts and unallocated payments
  • Discharge customer accounts, send overpayments to customer care, apply collection and repossession costs
  • Manage PPSR discharges and swaps
  • Support broker accreditations and assist the Credit team
  • Manage inbound calls and emails
  • Manage office supplies, liaise with cleaners, and handle ad hoc administrative duties.

About you

  • A certificate or diploma in business administration or a related field is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in an administrative support role, preferably within customer care or financial services.
  • Understanding of payment processing systems and procedures.
  • Familiarity with loan management systems and basic financial reconciliation principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and payment processing software (e.g., BPAY, Westpac).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments and handling customer accounts.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
