Job Opportunity: NDIS Restrictive Practices Reporting Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of NDIS Restrictive Practices Reporting Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reporting the use of restrictive practices in accordance with NDIS Restrictive Practices and Support Rules.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of lodging and reporting usage of restrictive practices under RPA policy and guidelines issued by NSW, as well as an understanding of the NDIS service delivery model.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lodging behaviour support plans that contain regulated restrictive practices with the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission.
  • Monthly reporting to the NDIS Commission on the use of restrictive practices through the DCJ portal.
  • Clinical governance, quality of practice and restrictive practices.
  • Ensuring staff is appropriately trained to implement positive behaviour strategies or use restrictive practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in working with NDIS restrictive practices.
  • A strong understanding of NSW policies and guidelines related to restrictive practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
