Quality and Safeguards Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team in ensuring the quality and safeguards of NDIS services.

  • To improve the quality of NDIS supports and services, we regulate and register NDIS providers, monitor their compliance with the NDIS Code of Conduct and NDIS Practice Standards, receive and respond to concerns, complaints, and reportable incidents about NDIS providers, including abuse and neglect of NDIS participants, educate and guide NDIS providers on best practices, conduct investigations and enforcement actions, and coordinate nationally consistent NDIS worker screening with states and territories.
  • In this role, you will work closely with NDIS participants, service providers, workers, and the community to ensure participants have choice, control, and dignity when accessing high-quality supports and services in safe environments.
  • Our aim is to empower NDIS participants, enable consumer independence, and uphold the rights of participants to be free from harm. We also strive to reduce and eliminate restrictive practices through monitoring and education.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct investigations, gather data, and inform policy decisions.
  • Work closely with NDIS participants, service providers, workers, and the community to achieve our goals.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements.
