As a gardener, you will play a vital role in maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in people's lives while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience in gardening is required;
- Fantastic customer service skills;
- Providing support and guidance to volunteers of varying skills and abilities;
- A team player;
- Good communication skills are written, interpersonal and verbal;
- Basic computer and paperwork skills;
- A safety-first approach to ensure safety and wellbeing of yourself, clients, and the team;
- Will be able to keep up with the demands of the physical demands of a gardening role;
- Will be able to work across other services to spend time with customers (this may include domestic assistance, social support, group activities)
**Essential Requirements:**
Qualifications and Skills:
- A Certificate in Horticulture or similar would be an advantage but not essential;
- Current Western Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions
- Rights to work in Australia
Prerequisites:
- A NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willing to apply)
