Job Overview

This cross-functional role works with our Commercial teams across marketing, sales, and customer success. Product marketing connects our GRC product strategy to the tactics needed to drive success in sales and marketing, ultimately delivering business impact by growing account-based revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate on the GoTo Market strategy for all segments across Governance, Risk, and Compliance, in close collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer success.
  2. Provide a wide range of foundational insights, including market analysis, TAM, ICPs, personas, customer journey mapping, competitive analysis, and Voice of Customer (VoC).
  3. Equip sales, customer success, and the broader marketing team with consistent and compelling messaging that drives adoption of our solutions and brings the voice of the market and customer to life.
  4. Build effective, targeted content, sales collateral, and sales enablement tools to accelerate sales and help customers find valuable use cases.
  5. Design multi-channel campaigns through targeted digital, content, event, and web marketing efforts, creating a platform for Field Marketing and Sales Development to produce campaigns and amplify messaging to achieve revenue and customer engagement targets.
  6. Supported by global initiatives, enable sellers with training, tools, assets, and experiences that drive pipeline and revenue.
  7. Create and implement annual and quarterly marketing plans that identify market opportunities, articulate core messaging, and compelling content that will drive leads and opportunities for sales teams.
  8. Lead the development and execution of cross-functional go-to-market (GTM) strategies for our GRC platform of solutions to drive new opportunities, product growth, and adoption.
  9. Play a pivotal role in developing compelling positioning and messaging for our GRC platform.
  10. Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Product, Enablement, and other cross-functional teams to champion and execute market research, sales, and marketing enablement, positioning, and buyer persona initiatives.
  11. Work with the Product Strategy team to define, monitor, and evolve Diligent's competitive, analyst, and industry position to accelerate product development and innovation.
  12. Define success criteria and measure the impact of Product Marketing efforts.
  13. Interpret and leverage data insights to validate GTM strategies, positioning, and messaging, product growth, and drive continual improvements.
  14. Use customer, partner, and market intelligence to deliver meaningful insights and identify new market opportunities, serving as a key voice of the market/customer to our Product and Engineering teams.
  15. Define market problem and value prop to detail Product-Market fit for current product capabilities for to establish GTM strategy for global new customer acquisition or customer expansion opportunities.
  16. Define strategies for pricing and packaging your product to align with Land/expand opportunities.
  17. Define end-to-end product solutions within our existing platform (the collection of capabilities including data integrations, platform features, and APIs, terminology, and content that together build our products).
  18. Execute new product introductions cross-functionally to prepare the product for market, our teams for market, and the market for our products.
  19. Conduct market, competitor, and customer research and analyze customer and global market feedback to continuously define positioning, packaging, messaging, and pricing for your products.
  20. Be the product expert that sales and pre-sales can call to support in strategic opportunities or new product introductions.
  21. Be the market and product expert for Sales Enablement so that they can educate the sales and marketing organization at scale.
  22. Collaborate with Marketing Communications to ensure they understand your product's positioning, message, buyers, value prop.
  23. Collaborate regularly with technical product management to prioritize initiatives and bring key customer and market insights to their teams.
  24. Lead Product Launch activities.
  25. Maintain individual product roadmaps to align product vision, market expansion strategy, and targeted market opportunity, and prioritize initiatives with Technical Product Managers.
  26. Maintain your own product demo environment with test data.
