Energy Efficiency Business Development Executive

We're seeking a driven Business Development Executive to propel our company's growth by building and nurturing customer relationships within your region. Your mission will be to actively prospect and engage with potential clients, introduce them to our smart energy management solutions, and drive new business opportunities.
In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping our market presence by negotiating impactful deals and ensuring exceptional service and support for our clients. Your contributions will directly contribute to our market expansion and success in the energy efficiency sector.
Responsibilities:
- You will engage directly with potential clients, understanding their needs and addressing their concerns.
- Cold calling comes naturally to you, and you see it as an essential part of connecting with new prospects.
- You will analyze the costs and benefits of potential customers to help guide our strategic decisions. Your organizational skills will help you build and maintain a well-structured lead database, ensuring that nothing falls through the cracks.
- You are driven by results, consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets within set deadlines.
- You stay informed about industry trends and market shifts.
- Competitive activity is second nature to you, ensuring your knowledge is always up to date.
- 5+ years of sales experience in a technical environment, with a proven track record in building and maintaining client relationships.
- An established network among installers, such as electrical wholesalers, energy management companies, and specialized infrastructure providers.
- Exceptional selling, communication, and negotiation skills, enabling you to drive successful partnerships and close deals.
- Perseverance and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where you can work independently while contributing to the team's success.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit, proactive approach, and commercial acumen, always seeking opportunities to innovate.
- Fluency in English.
- Based in Sydney or Melbourne, open to considering candidates from major cities to ensure we find the best fit for the role.
