About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Technical Estimator to support our engineering team at Berg Engineering. As a Technical Estimator, you will play a crucial role in analyzing project specifications, preparing accurate estimates, and ensuring that all bids reflect our commitment to quality and competitiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project specifications to identify key requirements and constraints
  • Prepare accurate estimates and bids that meet our quality and competitiveness standards
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure seamless project execution
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field preferred
  • Proven experience as an estimator or in a similar role within engineering or construction
  • Strong understanding of engineering principles and project management
  • Proficiency in estimation software and tools
  • Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate effectively with teams
