About the Role
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for working with production to develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for QLD country operations. This includes planning materials, resources, equipment, and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the maintenance schedule for QLD country operations
- Plan materials, resources, equipment, and contractors for planned preventative and shutdown maintenance works
- Consult with operations supervisors/leaders on preventative maintenance activities and equipment servicing
- Partner with maintenance supervisors to schedule manpower and resources effectively
- Develop cost and time estimates of planned maintenance work
- Maintain upkeep and accuracy of technical information and equipment maintenance history
- Continually improve planning, scheduling, purchasing, stores, data management, and job reporting systems
About Your Experience
We're looking for a candidate with experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, preferably with multi-site experience. You should have exceptional communication, negotiation, stakeholder management, prioritization, and planning skills. Additionally, you should have:
- Planning experience in CMMS (SAP desirable)
- Strong asset management background in materials handling/fixed plant/mobile plant
- Awareness and understanding of budget constraints
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to apply complex problem-solving and critical thinking techniques
