Meaningful Employment Specialist

This is a unique chance to make a difference in the lives of individuals with mental health conditions. Our team is seeking passionate and high-performing professionals to support participants in achieving sustainable employment.
As an Employment Consultant, you will work closely with participants to understand their strengths and goals. You will deliver services using evidence-based approaches, build strong partnerships with local employers, and monitor outcomes to ensure the success of our service.
We are looking for someone who can build trust with participants, their supports, and employers. Strong communication skills and business development skills are essential in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support, and ongoing support to participants.
- Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
- Work collaboratively with NDIS and community providers to ensure wrap-around supports for participants' wellbeing.
- Monitor outcomes and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
Requirements:
- A relevant Certificate III or higher qualification (Employment Services, Community Services, Mental Health, or related field).
- Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust with participants, their supports, and employers.
- Business development skills and local employer connections.
- Current driver's license and your own vehicle.
- Ability to obtain all required clearances (NDIS, Working with Children, Police Check).
