About the Role

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of individuals with mental health disabilities and providing personalized support to empower them to achieve their employment goals.

This role involves delivering services using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) Model, which is widely recognized as the most effective approach to employment for people with mental illness.

  • Support participants through every step of their journey: vocational profiling, job search, resume and interview preparation, placement, post-placement support, and ongoing support.
  • Strive to exceed individual and team performance targets, delivering sustainable employment outcomes and contributing to the overall success of the service.
  • Build strong partnerships with local employers to create inclusive job opportunities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support for participants' well-being.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to continuous improvement in service delivery.
  • Celebrate participant achievements and foster resilience, confidence, and long-term success.
What You Need

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A relevant qualification in employment services, community services, or a related field.
  • Experience in employment services, mental health support, or disability services.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust with participants, their families, and employers.
  • Business development skills and connections with local employers.
  • A current driver's license and your own vehicle.
  • The ability to obtain all necessary clearances.
