About This Opportunity

The University of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administration Officer to join our Academic Services Division. As a key member of the Business Enhancement team, you will play a vital role in leading business process improvement initiatives, focusing on digitization and automation projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Implementation and Testing: Lead the development of acceptance criteria and oversee user acceptance testing. Manage the identification and resolution of bugs and defects. Coordinate business readiness activities, including training materials and information dissemination.
  • Reporting and Compliance: Monitor and report on the usage, volumes, and compliance of digitized processes. Identify deficiencies in current policies and suggest improvements. Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and develop reporting frameworks. Prepare reports by analyzing and summarizing relevant information.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster collaborative relationships with business, technical, and university stakeholders to analyze current procedures and establish improved processes and project requirements.

About You

  • Relevant experience in student administration in a higher education institution or similar environment.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, time management, and attention to detail skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and negotiation skills to manage stakeholder expectations and build productive relationships.
