Culturally Sensitive Care in Remote NT Regions
About the PositionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Midwife/RN to provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
Main Responsibilities- To deliver culturally sensitive, high-quality care in collaboration with Aboriginal Health Practitioners, General Practitioners, nurses, and support staff.
- To provide treatment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in remote NT communities.
- Evidence of unrestricted registration as registered nurse and registered midwife with AHPRA.
- A minimum of 3 years of postgraduate experience in midwifery.
- A minimum of 2 years Postgraduate experience as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum of 250 hours of relevant clinical experience within the past 12 months.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Current recognised Immunisation certificate.
- Current Northern Territory Working with Children's Card (or willing to obtain).
- Fully paid locum placements ranging from 3 to 12 weeks, based in remote NT communities, with travel and accommodation covered.
- Cultural orientation and 24/7 support to help you transition into remote healthcare.
- Free CPD-accredited eLearning with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
