About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the advancement of nephrology services while making a tangible difference to patients' lives. As a Consultant Nephrologist, you will work collaboratively within a large multidisciplinary team, leveraging your expertise in nephrology to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality professional Nephrology services within CNARTS.
  2. Support commissioned country renal services undertaken by CNARTS in regional centres.
  3. Contribute to shaping the future of renal care, focusing on collaboration, innovation, regional development, and high standards of medical practice.
Key Requirements
  1. Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Nephrology (FRACP) or equivalent.
  2. Eligibility for registration as a Specialist with the Medical Board of Australia.
  3. Experience in nephrology, including CKD, dialysis, and transplant patient care, with a high level of knowledge in a renal unit within a major teaching hospital.
  4. Commitment to quality care, professional integrity, ongoing professional development, research, teaching, clinical governance, and quality improvement.
  5. Leadership and teamwork skills, including experience in liaising with diverse groups and fostering culturally sensitive care.
Salary and Benefits

The successful candidate can expect an estimated salary range of $365,798 - $713,692 p.a., depending on experience. Additionally, SA Health offers comprehensive benefits, including:
